What is a Superspecial?

The Super Special takes place on the first day of the competition, Friday, May 9. This stage is typically a purpose-built or artificially designated compact track, sometimes with a circuit-like layout. It is often referred to as a spectator-friendly stage.

Drivers will compete simultaneously on two separate lanes, and at one of the most exciting points of the track, the two routes will cross over each other, with one passing above the other through a tunnel.

At this location, you can follow the race from four spectator areas situated relatively close to each other, all offering a great view of the track.

Remember to take your place at your chosen spectator area safely at least 35 minutes before the start of the first cars. After this point, no spectator movement affecting the track is allowed!

How is the race weekend structured?

The European Rally Championship (ERC) will take place over three days, from May 9 to 11 (Friday–Saturday–Sunday).

More details coming soon!

How many venues are there?

The race starts from the Service Park each day, with the cars returning there both during the day and at the end of each stage.

More details coming soon!

When should you arrive on site?

In all cases, the start time of the first car will be given for the fast stages. It is important to note that there will be no spectator movement on the track for 35 minutes prior to the start time, so please make sure you are safely seated at the chosen spectator point by this time at the latest. As the spectator areas are often a 10-15 minute walk from the car park, a shuttle bus may be available to help you get there.

Where can I watch the race and how do I choose a spectator area?

We will set up spectator areas along the speedway sections, taking into account visibility and safety considerations, from where you can watch the race safely and comfortably. At the spectator areas, we will indicate which ones we recommend for people with children or families, the distance from which you can park and how to get to the venue. The spectator information for each stage also tells you how to get to your chosen spectator area.
At the venues, the green ribbon indicates the areas designated for spectators to move freely, and the red ribbon indicates the areas that are closed to spectators.
The cars are moving at high speed, so it is more important than ever to follow the signs for spectators and the instructions of the organisers at the venue.

What should/should not I take with me?

The speed stages of the race weekend will take place in a variety of terrain, but all will be exposed to the elements. Be sure to arrive in comfortable, closed shoes – hiking boots if possible on forest terrain – and dress in layers according to the weather that day. In some places you can expect dust and mud. At the spectator areas, we’ll indicate where you can expect to find refreshments, toilets and other facilities. Where there is no buffet, make sure you have water with you! You can bring food, water, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks under 5% with you wherever you go.
Beer benches and beer tables are available at the buffets, but feel free to bring a blanket or blanket, many people also have picnics.
If it’s sunny, be prepared with sun protection – sunscreen, hats, but mosquito and tick repellent and a good mosquito repellent can also do you good!
It’s worth coming with a charged phone as charging facilities will not be available at the venues!

What should I expect if I arrive with a child?

The Rally European Championship is an exciting event for both adults and children, the race is a spectacular and thrilling event for all genders and age groups.
Throughout the entire event, children under 14 years of age can attend all the special stages and locations for free, no need to buy tickets.

When attending with children, we recommend choosing the highlighted spectator points: on Friday, the 1st and 2nd spectator points in Királyszentistván, on Saturday the spectator point at Kislőtér Jutaspuszta, and on Sunday the 2nd spectator point at the Nagylőtér special stage!
Every day we have created highlighted spectator points on different stages, where you can comfortably and safely enjoy the race with children and family. These points will have a buffet, portable toilets, and a merchandising shop. At the buffets, you can consume food at picnic tables and benches.

It’s important to arrive in comfortable closed shoes and layered clothing. There may be dust and mud on the tracks. In sunny weather, it’s advisable to prepare with sun protection, sunscreen, and for the little ones, definitely a hat. Tick repellent is also recommended.
If the weather is nice, feel free to bring a blanket or picnic mat, as many people like to picnic.
There will be no diaper changing facilities on-site, but you can bring water and food with you.

The locations are often accessible with a 10-15 minute walk, so be sure to check the access to the spectator points before departure.
We mark the areas where spectators are allowed to move with green tape, and restricted areas are marked with red tape.
The race cars move at high speed, so it’s crucial to follow the spectator signs and the instructions of the organizers on-site, especially with small children!

What services can I find at the venues?

The race will take place on all three days on gravel roads in out-of-town conditions.
Each day we have designated a speed section, where we have set up priority spectator areas with extended facilities.
You will find buffets, toilets and merchandising shops, beer tables and beer benches next to the buffets at these locations:
– on Friday in Királyszentistván at the spectator areas 1, 2
– Saturday at the Jutaspuszta spectator area in Kislőtér
– Sunday at the Nagylőtér, speedway 2, spectator area
At two spectator areas: in Királyszentistván and Iszkán shuttles will be available to help you get from the parking lot to the track.
At the spectator areas of the other speedway stages, the map shows where you can find a snack bar and toilets and where there are no services.

What should I wear for the start?

The speed stages of the race weekend will take place in a variety of terrain conditions, so be sure to arrive in comfortable, closed-toe shoes – hiking boots on forest terrain if possible – and dressed in layers for the day’s weather. You can expect dust and mud in some places.
If it’s sunny, be prepared with sun protection – sunscreen, hats, but mosquito and tick repellent and a good mosquito repellent can also do you good service!
It is advisable to come with a charged phone as charging facilities will not be available at the venues!

Rally safety: what to do/not to do, what to look out for?

Like all motor and motorsports, rallying has its dangers, but as organisers we will do our utmost to ensure that you are as safe as possible by following the markings and following the organisers’ instructions.
We have marked out spectator points along the fast stages where you can follow the race safely. You will find directions to these points and parking facilities in the spectator information section of the stage descriptions.
Along the courses, red tape indicates areas that are off-limits to spectators, and green tape indicates spectator areas where you can move freely and with freedom. Please take the signs for the restricted areas seriously. Often, what may appear dangerous to the lay eye may not be so to the sportsman’s eye, based on experience.
Some of the speed sections cross military territory, so it is particularly important to follow safety signs and organisers’ instructions.
If you are going to a spectator point where you have to cross the course, look for the crossing markings, where you will be guided to cross the course safely.
We have included the start time for the first cars in the programme, no spectator movement is allowed on the track until 35 minutes before this time, so please make sure you are safely seated at your chosen spectator point before then.

Where do I get the paid ticket?

Paid tickets will be sent by e-mail to the address provided. Please also check your Spam folder.
