Viewers in 28 countries around the world watched a total of 185 hours of coverage of this year’s Hungarian European Championship round, the V-Bridge Rally Hungary, with a media value of a staggering €4,028,330!

This year, the international promoter has once again evaluated Rally Hungary in terms of global audience, digital media impact and social media presence, and the detailed analysis has produced some stunning figures.

This is good news for the Hungarian European Championship, for the Hungarian promoter HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency, and of course for the whole of Hungary in terms of country image, because it shows that our ERC event has brought good news to the world for our country and for the region.

The footage of Rally Hungary was broadcast by 30 broadcasters in 28 countries, for a total of 185 hours – including repeats, this resulted in 787,000 hours of views on the websites.

Worldwide, 4.9 million people watched the events and 94.4 million people were reached by the competition. The media value of the V-Bridge Rally Hungary totalled €4,028,330, with the highest media value in Finland (€2,958,722), the highest number of viewers on the Romanian channel TVR 1 (8,765,504) and the highest number of airtime hours (almost 58 hours) in Poland.

On social media, 6.8 million posts were made about the event, 211,000 people interacted with the posts and 2.8 million people watched the videos.
