Taking place from October 6th to 8th in RabócsiRing, Nyíregyháza, and the Zemplén Mountains, Rally Hungary promises to be one of the highlights of the season. It will be the finale of the 70th season of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). Ticket sales have started on rallyhungary.com and through the Eventim network.
The field of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) will visit Hungary for the fourth time. The rally, which will take place from October 6th to 8th, 2023, provides an excellent opportunity for Hungarian competitors in the ERC, such as Martin László-Dávid Berendi, Junior ERC crew Patrik Herczig-Kristóf Varga, or the duo in ERC4, Bendegúz Hangodi-László Bunkoczi, to demonstrate their skills on Hungarian soil, on the legendary stages of the Zemplén Mountains.
It is expected that the duo of Miklós Csomós-Attila Nagy will also return for the competition, and the leading participants of the HUMDA National Rally Championship may also enter the Rally Hungary for this round. This allows the best local competitors to compare their skills against the likes of former Rally Hungary winner Mads Østberg and one-time WRC event winner and current ERC points leader Hayden Paddon.
The centre of the 2023 event will be Nyíregyháza, where a downtown stage will also be held. Additionally, the field will visit the Rabócsiring in Máriapócs for a unique Super Special Stage. The competition in October will conclude the 2023 season, which marks the 70th anniversary of the series.
The event, taking place over three days at various locations, generated significant interest in previous years, despite the substantial impact of the COVID-19 restrictions. This year the event will not be distracted by such limitations.
Tickets for the 2023 Rally Hungary event can be purchased at RallyHungary.com and through the Eventim network. For the “All in Plus” tickets, special Rally Pass cards and a Rally Hungary beanie will be supplied to the buyers.
Tickets redeemable for wristbands are distributed in electronic “Print at Home” format, while the card and cap will be delivered.
